The Story Behind Our Logo
Before delivering a session at an industry conference, Amy (founder at Shilliday-Vaughan Consulting) had placed colorful fidget items including pipe cleaners throughout the room. During the session, one participant, Jacqui C., was silently crafting what would become a memorable gift for Amy.
After the session was over, the participant approached Amy and gave her the gift: a small pipe cleaner figure, and said: "It’s YOU—with your pink hair and love for learners!"
More than a keepsake, the figure became a symbol of recognizing talent and creating space for growth.

Today, our logo is a tribute to the figure (now named "Marcie"). It's a reminder of the quiet power of recognition and our commitment to helping every learner feel seen and supported.

Our Mission
